Design Codes — Lagoon Blue

The colour at the centre of VIAMOF’s visual language, shaped by water, horizon and movement.

Some colours describe a surface. Others hold a way of seeing.

Lagoon Blue belongs to the second kind.

Inspired by the stillness of water and the infinite horizon where sea meets sky, it carries two qualities at once: calm and movement.

That tension makes it central to VIAMOF. Our work begins with a stable form, then opens it to change. Lagoon Blue gives that idea a visual atmosphere.

A Colour in Motion

Water never holds one shape for long. Light moves across it. Depth changes its tone. A quiet surface can contain constant motion.

Lagoon Blue expresses that state of becoming.

It does not represent a single fixed shade or one frozen view. It moves between clarity and depth, brightness and shadow, stillness and flow.

Where Sea Meets Sky

At the horizon, boundaries become difficult to separate.

Blue belongs to the water and the sky at the same time. The line between them is visible, yet continuously altered by distance, weather and light.

VIAMOF finds possibility in that open edge—the place where one state meets another without losing its identity.

‍

Blue, Black and White

Lagoon Blue lives within a restrained palette.

Black brings depth and structure. White introduces light and space. Blue moves between them.

Together, the three create contrast, rhythm and balance. The palette can feel precise without becoming rigid, expressive without becoming loud.

From Beginning to Becoming

For VIAMOF, colour is not added after the idea. It helps articulate the idea.

Lagoon Blue appears wherever we want to hold movement and composure together: in digital spaces, editorial imagery, packaging, environments and the visual presentation of the product.

Its role is consistent even when its expression changes. It guides the eye, creates recognition and connects individual moments to the wider VIAMOF world.

The State We Return To

Lagoon Blue is layered, luminous and always in motion.

It reminds us that becoming does not require abandoning what came before. Change can carry continuity. Movement can begin from stillness.

More than a colour, Lagoon Blue is a visual expression of the journey itself.
